    其他 + (的) + Noun

    Explanation

    其他 (qítā) means 'other' or 'else,' used to refer to additional items or people beyond what has already been specified. It is slightly more formal than 别的 and is common in both spoken and written Chinese. For example, 其他地区 means 'other regions.'

    Examples

    • 这件事我已经通知了，其他人你来告诉吧。

      zhè jiàn shì wǒ yǐjīng tōngzhī le, qítā rén nǐ lái gàosu ba.

      I've already notified people about this matter; you tell the others.

    • 除了北京以外，其他城市我都没去过。

      chúle běijīng yǐwài, qítā chéngshì wǒ dōu méi qùguo.

      Besides Beijing, I haven't been to any other cities.

    • 主菜点好了，其他的你们随便加。

      zhǔcài diǎn hǎo le, qítā de nǐmen suíbiàn jiā.

      The main course has been ordered; feel free to add anything else.
