跟 + Person + 结婚
结婚 (jiéhūn) means 'to get married' and functions as a verb-object compound in Chinese. Because it already contains its own object (婚), it cannot take a direct object; instead, you say 跟某人结婚 (marry someone) using the preposition 跟. For example, 在今天结婚 means 'to get married today.'
