    中秋节 (Zhōngqiūjié), the Mid-Autumn Festival, is a major Chinese holiday celebrated on the fifteenth day of the eighth lunar month. It is a time for family reunions, moon-gazing, and eating mooncakes (月饼). It is one of the three most significant traditional Chinese festivals.
