Explanation
感 (gǎn) is a bound morpheme meaning 'feeling' or 'sense.' It rarely appears alone and is most commonly seen in compounds like 感谢 (to thank), 感觉 (to feel), and 感动 (to be moved). It contributes the meaning of emotional perception to these words.
