Explanation
家乡 (jiāxiāng) means "hometown" or "native place" and refers to the place where someone was born or grew up. It carries a warm, nostalgic connotation and is often used when talking about returning home or remembering one's roots.

我已经三年没有回家乡了，很想念。
Wǒ yǐjīng sān nián méiyǒu huí jiāxiāng le, hěn xiǎngniàn.
