    Degree & Intensity

    Structure

    或许 + 会/能 + Verb

    Explanation

The adverb 或许 (huòxǔ) means "perhaps" or "maybe," expressing possibility or uncertainty about something. It is slightly more formal than 也许 and is placed before the verb or adjective it modifies. It suggests the speaker considers the outcome possible but not certain.
