Expressing "gratitude" with 感谢 (gǎnxiè)

Explanation
The verb 感谢 (gǎnxiè) means "to thank" or "to be grateful to" and is used to express appreciation toward someone. It is more formal than 谢谢 and is commonly used in speeches, written messages, and formal occasions.
Examples
我非常感谢你在困难时期对我的帮助。
wǒ fēicháng gǎnxiè nǐ zài kùnnán shíqī duì wǒ de bāngzhù.
I am very grateful for your help during difficult times.
她在发言中感谢了所有支持她的人。
