Explanation
假 (jiǎ) means "fake," "false," or "counterfeit" and is used to describe something that is not genuine or authentic. It can modify nouns directly (假的, 假货) and often appears in contexts involving deception or imitation. It is the opposite of 真 (real/true).
Examples
这个包是假的，不是正品。
Zhège bāo shì jiǎ de, bù shì zhèngpǐn.
This bag is fake; it's not genuine.
