滑 + (modifier) + 雪
Explanation
雪 (xuě) means "snow" and appears as the separable object in the verb 滑雪 (to ski). When 滑雪 is split, 雪 functions as the noun complement of the verb 滑. This separation allows modifiers, aspect markers, or quantifiers to be inserted between the two parts.

他滑了两次雪就学会了。
