    相对 (xiāngduì) is an adverb or adjective meaning "relatively," "comparatively," or "by comparison." It is used to soften statements by indicating that something is true only in comparison to something else. For example, 相对和平 means "relatively peaceful."

      jīntiān de kǎoshì xiāngduì jiǎndān, dàjiā yīnggāi dōu néng guò.
