Explanation
老人 (lǎorén) means "old person" or "elderly person." It is a respectful and neutral term for someone of advanced age. In cultural contexts, it can also appear in compound terms like 圣诞老人 (Santa Claus, literally "Christmas old man").

公园里有很多老人在散步。
gōngyuán lǐ yǒu hěn duō lǎorén zài sànbù.
