Asking how many or how much with 多少 (duōshǎo)

    Numbers & Quantity
    Questions

    Structure

    Subject + 有 + 多少 + Measure Word + Noun

    Explanation

多少 means "how many" or "how much," used to ask about quantities. Unlike 几, which implies a small number, 多少 has no such limitation and works for any quantity. Place it before the measure word and noun in a question.
