Making suggestions with 吧 (ba)

Statement + 吧
Explanation
The particle 吧 added to the end of a sentence softens a statement into a suggestion, mild command, or assumption. It turns a flat imperative into something more like "let's…" or "how about…" For example, 走吧 means "Let's go" and 你说吧 means "Go ahead and say it."
Examples
我们走吧，快迟到了。
wǒmen zǒu ba, kuài chídào le.
Let's go, we're about to be late.
你先吃吧，别等我了。
nǐ xiān chī ba, bié děng wǒ le.
You eat first, don't wait for me.
今天太累了，早点睡吧。
jīntiān tài lèi le, zǎodiǎn shuì ba.
I'm so tired today, let's sleep early.
