Statement + 吗？
Explanation
The particle 吗 is added to the end of a declarative sentence to turn it into a yes/no question. No word order change is needed — just append 吗. For example, 你是学生 ("You are a student") becomes 你是学生吗？ ("Are you a student?").
Examples
你喜欢吃辣的吗？
nǐ xǐhuān chī là de ma?
Do you like spicy food?
明天你有空吗？
míngtiān nǐ yǒu kòng ma?
