Explanation
总是 (zǒngshì) means "always" and indicates that something consistently or habitually occurs. It can describe both neutral habits and situations the speaker finds notable or somewhat frustrating.
Examples
他总是迟到，老师已经很不满意了。
Tā zǒngshì chídào, lǎoshī yǐjīng hěn bù mǎnyì le.
He's always late, and the teacher is already very unhappy about it.
她总是能在关键时刻想到好办法。
Tā zǒngshì néng zài guānjiàn shíkè xiǎngdào hǎo bànfǎ.
She can always think of good solutions at critical moments.
每次出门，妈妈总是提醒我带伞。
Měi cì chūmén, māma zǒngshì tíxǐng wǒ dài sǎn.
